AdventBuddy is an independent, non-commercial project created by Tafadzwa Mabika based in Zimbabwe. We operate a WhatsApp chatbot and this website to provide free spiritual resources to the Seventh-day Adventist community and anyone interested in faith-based content.

2. What Information We Collect
Contact form — When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and message. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Feature suggestion form — We collect your feedback text and, optionally, your email address if you choose to provide it for follow-up.
WhatsApp interactions — When you message AdventBuddy on WhatsApp, messages are processed through the WhatsApp Business API. We do not store conversation logs beyond what is necessary to respond to your request in-session. WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy applies to the messaging platform itself.
Usage data — We may collect anonymised analytics (page views, general location region) to understand how the site is used. No personal data is tied to these statistics.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To improve the bot and website based on anonymised usage trends
- We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it to third parties
4. Data Storage & Security
Contact form submissions are delivered directly to our email inbox and not stored in a third-party database. We apply reasonable security measures to protect the information we hold. Given the small, independent nature of this project, we encourage you to avoid sharing sensitive personal information through our forms.
5. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use strictly necessary cookies for basic site functionality (e.g. session state). No consent banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.
6. Third-Party Services
This site is hosted on Vercel. Content images are served via Amazon CloudFront. WhatsApp messaging is provided by Meta Platforms. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy.
